A commercial producer based in Los Angeles. Donna has produced throughout the U.S., abroad, and traveled between Los Angeles and her hometown Chicago – happily avoiding most of the Midwestern winters. She has produced for production companies such as Anonymous Content, Backyard, Caviar, Frame Store, Hungryman, Moxie Pictures, Netflix, Raucous Content, Skunk, Superprime, Tool of North America , Uber Content, to name a few.
Although commercials are her medium of choice, she has also produced award-winning title openings and promos. One of her greatest strengths as a producer is the on-set liaison between agency and director to ensure everyone is creatively in sync and that we “make the day”.
One of her favorite parts of the production, however, is the collaborative process that begins even before the job is awarded. Building a team and bringing the creative vision to life through the reality of the budget. The research that goes into properly budgeting this creative vision is extensive and the relationships she’s forged throughout her career are invaluable to this end.
How does Donna budget for healthy and dying weeds for a fertilizer commercial? She flies in the “dandelion guy” from Atlanta….How do you find him…..resources, resources, resources.
